Are you getting ready to begin your college or university studies? You are probably a bit concerned. What can you do to ensure you will be a success as you pursue your studies?  As a university professor, I was always distressed to see students not doing well academically. This should not be! Students who are admitted to colleges and universities in the U.S. have the potential to do well.

To help students succeed, I thought back through my academic career as an undergrad and grad student and came up with six easy principles which will help you make top grades and have fun in the process. These timeless principles are presented in one of many such talks I gave to student groups at the University of Alabama and at other colleges and universities.
